Supported by the Geifman Endowment, the Geifman Prize in Holocaust Studies is an annual competition for currently enrolled Augustana College students with awards up to $500.
Submissions may include essays, research papers, poetry, drama, film, artwork, musical composition, or other creative expression. Past winners may submit new work.
Faculty members on the Geifman Endowment Committee serve as adjudicators. Depending upon the format, submissions will be evaluated according to depth of research, scholarly writing style and creativity. The Augustana Honor Code guidelines apply to all submissions.
All submissions are due by 5 p.m. April 3, 2018.
All written entries are submitted electronically as part of the application form below. Other works should be delivered to the CORE office (Olin 320).
