This Week's Message
Thanksgiving
We have much to be thankful for this week as we prepare for time with family and friends over the Thanksgiving holiday. With everyone in the Academic Affairs office, I am grateful to all faculty and staff for the work you do for Augustana students. Our success can be measured in so many ways: through, for example, our students' remarkable performance on national assessment instruments like the NSSE, the thousands of hours they give in service to the Quad Cities and the surrounding region, and the amazing Senior Inquiry projects they undertake.
If you have a minute this week, I hope you will take time to view one or two of the success stories told by Augustana students that are a part of the latest president's report:

Our students speak powerfully in these videos about the ways in which Augustana faculty and staff have helped them to learn and grow in their years here.
I hope you will have time to come to Wallenberg Hall Tuesday at either 10:30 or 4:30. President Bahls will talk about the many ways in which we are achieving our mission to prepare students for lives of leadership and service to community.
Thank you for all you do for Augustana students!
