Transitional Living Areas
Augustana's TLA houses and apartments are available to third year students, with the possibility of limited offerings to fourth year and second year students, based on availability. TLA offers a variety of housing options, all designed to promote readiness for independent living. There are 38 house communities and 14 suite-style apartment buildings available. The Southwest wing of Swanson Commons is also home to TLA style apartments; as is a small section of apartments in the northwest part of the first floor of Andreen Hall. Students residing in these houses/areas have access to kitchen facilities and can choose whether or not to purchase a college meal plan. Internet and cable TV are available.
Who can live here: Third year students; if availability permits, fourth year and second year students.
