American String Teachers Association (ASTA)

American String Teachers Association’s purpose is to promote greater interest and participation in string and orchestra playing at the elementary, middle, high school and collegiate levels, to promote the highest standards in string and orchestra playing, teaching, and string and orchestra education, to provide additional opportunities for community involvement in string and orchestra playing, and to serve as a coordinating agency for the activities and interests of the group.
