Rindone won with a time of :47.43 and he was pushed the whole way by fellow senior Greg Patton who took second in :47.72. | |
Voland wins 400 hurdles at Dr. Keeler InviteThe sprinters on the Augustana track & field team continued to stay hot as the Vikings competed at the Dr. Keeler Invitational on Friday, May 10 at North Central in Naperville, Illinois. Just one week removed from the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin meet, and heading into finals week, head coach Paul Olsen's team turned in several outstanding performances. | |
Rindone leads Vikings to 2nd at CCIW meetSenior Alex Rindone won Track Athlete of the Meet for the second time in three years Saturday, leading Augustana to second place at the 2012 CCIW Track & Field Championship. Rindone won the 100 and 200 and anchored the Vikings' winning 4x100 and 4x400 relays. North Central won the team title. | |
Men's track & field second in CCIW after day oneAugustana used multiple place-winners in four field event finals to move into second place in the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin men's track & field championship after the first day of competition. The Vikings, who are competing at Millikin in Decatur, Illinois, totaled 54 points after six events were completed. |
