Floods
The Quad-City area is susceptible to flooding. While it's unlikely for the entire campus to be affected, the basements of some of the on-campus buildings may take on water. Call Augustana Security at x7711. The caller should be prepared to provide a location. After the call is made, the caller should:
• Leave the area immediately.
• Do not return to the area until Augustana Security declares it is safe.
When driving in the Quad-City area:
• Do not drive on water-covered roads; find an alternate route.
• Roads framing the Mississippi River on both the Iowa and Illinois sides will flood.
• Monitor local radio, television and newspapers for roads and areas to avoid.
