Special year, special Homecoming
Greetings from Augustana!
We hope you are enjoying the summer and spending time traveling, relaxing or visiting with family and friends.
The Office of Alumni Relations is working to connect alumni, parents and friends with one another and with the college. We plan events for a range of interests, including lectures, sporting events, art and theatre. I am particularly excited about the many special events planned for Homecoming 2010 in our sesquicentennial year!
Be sure to mark your calendar for Oct. 8-10 to come back to campus during this 150th Homecoming celebration. We will have lectures, a Farm 2 Fork dinner, special presentation by Ann Boaden, Dome Dash 5k run, signing of the Old Main beam, lunch in the Quad and a 150th anniversary reception and dinner under a chandelier-lit tent.
Regional alumni events throughout the country are in the works. Be on the lookout for your invitation to an event in your area. Contact alumni@augustana.edu with questions or to let us know if you would like to become involved.
See you at Homecoming!
Sincerely, Kelly Noack '02

An all-time record!
With tremendous generosity from alumni and friends, The Augustana Fund Leadership Challenge exceeded all expectations. With your support, we surpassed the challenge goal, which led the charge in setting an all-time record for The Augustana Fund: more than $1.5 million raised in 2009-2010.
Your gifts to The Augustana Fund enhance the experiences and opportunities of students and faculty. Thank you.
