The American Scandinavian Association at Augustana will host its traditional winter Pea Soup and Swedish Pancake Supper with a program by Dr. Kirsten Day, associate professor of Classics at Augustana.
The evening begins with social time and punch at 5:30 p.m. Dinner will be served at 6. The menu includes yellow pea soup, including a vegetarian version, Swedish mustard, apple and red cabbage salad, limpa and Swedish rye bread,cheese, cookies, Swedish pancakes and lingonberries, and decaf coffee.
Dr. Day will present "Connections Between Greek and Roman Civilizations and Augustana’s Scandinavian Heritage."
