Admissions looking for student workers

The Office of Admissions is looking for students to work in its office next year. Admissions will be hiring ambassadors, student workers, student callers, and campus visit assistants (CVAs). Below is a description of each job:

Ambassadors give campus tours and do clerical work in the office.

Student workers assist an Admission's counselor and staff to help them with their work.

Callers contact prospective students over the phone to remind them of upcoming events and check in on how their college search is going.

CVAs help coordinate student's visit on campus, direct families to their next appointments on campus and help answer phones at the front desk.

All positions also assist with visit days, act as overnight hosts and can share their Augustana experience with prospective students and families!

There will be three informational meetings for students to ask questions, learn more about the job, and find out how to apply.

• Dec. 2: Office of Admissions lobby (first floor of Seminary), 7-7:30 p.m.
• Dec. 3: Andreen Red Room, 7-7:30 p.m.
• Dec. 5: Westerlin lounge, 7-7:30 p.m.

The application will be available on Handshake on the first day of J-term, so there also will be two additional informational sessions after the application is sent out:

• Jan. 9: Westerlin lounge, 7-7:30 p.m.
• Jan. 12: Office of Admissions lobby (first floor of Seminary), 7-7:30 p.m.
