Longfellow School holiday book drive

For many years, the Reading/Writing Center has collected books for Longfellow School children.

Donations of new or like-new (undamaged, unmarked) books for ages 4-12 will be accepted from Dec. 2-17.

Donated books may be sent to the Reading/Writing Center through campus mail or dropped off during open hours; 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Friday, and 7-9 p.m. Sunday-Thursday.

The books find their ways into classroom collections as well as incentives and gifts for the children during the rest of the school year. Last year the center collected enough books to allow each child at Longfellow to choose one to keep.
