The Augustana Choir in Ascension Chapel.

A tradition of touring

The Augustana Choir and Augustana Symphonic Band have a tradition of touring across the country and around the world that goes back decades.

The ensembles tour on a three-year rotation to the Midwest, another region in the United States and overseas. Many current students and alumni say the highlight of their Augustana experience was touring with an ensemble.

This year the Symphonic Band will make its first tour of Spain. Nearly 60 members of the ensemble will perform in and visit the cities of Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia, Segovia and more. Follow the band's adventure on Facebook!

The Augustana Choir will stay closer to home in Illinois and Wisconsin. The choir will work with hundreds of high school students and perform for many alumni and friends as they travel to Rockford, Naperville and Arlington Heights in Illinois, and Appleton, Madison, Ripon and Waukesha in Wisconsin.

Everyone is welcome to attend a choir performance. All performances are free.
