DESCRIPTION:Hacktoberfest 2026: The Unhinged is a mini hackathon where students get together on a Friday night to build cool\, fun and unconventional projects. In collaboration with World Studios and Major League Hacking (MLH)\, the event is part of Hacktoberfest\, a global celebration of open-source software and collaboration\, with a focus on open-source AI and open-weight models.From 4:30 to 10 p.m.\, students will have a few hours to brainstorm wild ideas\, experiment with new technologies and bring their ideas to life. There will be food\, swag and plenty of opportunities to learn something new\, meet other students and build things just for the fun of it.The goal is bring students together for a night of learning\, creativity\, and laughter. We're tired of boring projects\, so we're encouraging everyone to think outside the box\, try something different\, and build something a little unhinged.
