DESCRIPTION:Augustana's Ascension Ringers bell choir will perform at a celebration of the 500th anniversary of the Reformation.&nbsp\;\n\nThis ecumenical will include portions of the Common Prayer Service compiled by the Liturgical Task Force of the Lutheran-Roman Catholic Commission on Unity.\n\nThe liturgist will be Pastor Michel Clark from Knoxville\, Ill.\, assistant to the bishop of the Northern Illinois Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.\n\nAn ecumenical choir will be led by Steve Steely\, choir director at First Lutheran Church in Moline and pastoral musician at St. Pious X Catholic Church in Rock Island.\n\nThe organist will be Chris Nelson\, organist and director of music at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Davenport.\n\nLight refreshments will be served after the service.\n\nMore Information\n
