DESCRIPTION:Mississippi Bend Players will present the musical "Big River\," based on the Mark Twain novel "Adventures of Huckleberry Finn\," with music and lyrics by Roger Miller.\n\nThe 1985 Broadway production ran for more than 1\,000 performances and it remained one of the few very successful American musicals in the mid-1980s (Wikipedia).\n\nThe&nbsp\;Mississippi Bend Players&nbsp\;is a new theatre company based in the Quad Cities whose mission is to provide excellence in the Quad Cities theatre by producing both commercially proven works and original musical and dramatic material. The group gives students and community members the opportunity to work together on professional stage productions.\n\nPerformance Schedule:&nbsp\;\n\nJune 29 - 7:30 p.m.\nJune 30 - 7:30 p.m.\nJuly 1 - 2 p.m.\n
