Allen's&nbsp\;first book\, "A Bony Framework for the Tangible Universe\,"&nbsp\;is forthcoming in 2019 from The Operating System.\n\nD. Allen has received a VSA Minnesota Emerging Artist Grant\, a Minnesota State Arts Board Artist Initiative Grant\, a Loft Literary Center Minnesota Emerging Writers’ Grant\, a Lighthouse Works Fellowship\, and an MFA from the University of Minnesota. D.’s work has been published in Rogue Agent\, District Lit\, Black Warrior Review\, and QDA: A Queer Disability Anthology.\n\nThe event is&nbsp\;sponsored by the Institute for Leadership and Service and the Humanities Fund.\n
