DESCRIPTION:The Swenson Swedish Immigration Research Center will host an open house and the unveiling of the new permanent exhibit "Swedish Immigration to North America."&nbsp\;\n\nThe exhibit features a timeline of Swedish immigration\, settlement maps of Swedish-American communities\, and thematic panels featuring images from the Center's archival collections. Text for the exhibit was written by Dr. Dag Blanck\, director of the Center.&nbsp\;Funding for this exhibit was provided by the Swedish Council of America.&nbsp\;\n\nThe open house will take place between 3:30 and 5 pm. Come and go as you are able. Free and open to the public.\n\nPlease join us to welcome the arrival of spring in Swedish style!\n\nThe&nbsp\;Swenson Swedish Immigration Research Center\, located in the Denkmann building at Augustana College\, is a national library and archives providing resources for the study of Swedish immigration to North America.\n
