DESCRIPTION:We’re getting ready to take back the night at Augie\, and we want to hear&nbsp\;your&nbsp\;voice!\n\nDo you have a story to tell\, an artistic piece to present\, or anything else to share about assault prevention or sexual freedom? Do you want to have an impact on the campus community? This is your chance to be a part of the open-mic portion of WGST-201’s Take Back The Night event!\n\nThe purpose of this event is to raise awareness about sexual assault and to empower members of the Augustana campus community to reclaim our sexuality in a patriarchal world. We will have a number of featured speakers at the event\, but we want to include your voices as well\, as we feel that no one represents the diversity of identities and perspectives at Augustana better than its students.\n\nThe event will take place on Sunday\, April 28 from 7-9 p.m.&nbsp\;on the Quad\, with a rain location in Wallenberg Hall.\n\nIf you are interested in speaking during the open mic portion of the event\, please contact Jane Simonsen&nbsp\;and let us know what you’d like to say. We are so excited to hear your voices and work together to make this event the best it can be!\n
