DESCRIPTION:Sangeetha Rayapati and Sidney Outlaw will sing a selection of songs and also hold a Q&amp\;A session on the life of professional vocal performers. Light refreshments will be provided.&nbsp\;\n\nDr. Rayapati\, soprano\, is a professor of music at Augustana\, specializing in vocal pedagogy\, and head of the voice program.\n\nShe has sung with many regional companies and is a frequent recitalist and collaborator with contemporary composers.&nbsp\;\n\nBaritone Sidney Outlaw is a graduate of the Merola Opera Program and the Gerdine Young Artist Program at Opera Theatre of Saint Louis. He was nominated for a Grammy for the opera trilogy\, "L’Orestie d’Eschyle" in which he sang the role of Apollo.\n\nHe holds a bachelor in music performance from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a master of vocal performance from The Julliard School. He has performed in operas and had concert and recital appearances in the U.S. and abroad.\n
