DESCRIPTION:Augustana music instructors Susan Bawden and Janet Stodd will perform on bassoon and flute.\n\nBawden performs on campus in many recitals\, and in the past\, the Woodwind Outreach Tours sponsored by the Quad City Symphony Orchestra Association. She graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in bassoon performance.\n\nShe was a charter member of the Quad City Wind Ensemble\, and is a charter member of the Classique Quintette. She was been a member of the Quad City Symphony Orchestra from 1976-2016.\n\nStodd is a flutist for the Symphony's Woodwind Outreach Concerts. She is founder and director of the Augustana Flute Choir and is a member of the National Flute Choir. She is also founder and president of Quad City Flutes Unlimited. Since 2003 she has been principal flutist and orchestra manager for the Quad City Opera Company.\n
