DESCRIPTION:Juniors who are interested in applying for the Texas Medical Center Summer Research Program should attend this&nbsp\; informational meeting. (A second meeting will be held Nov. 8\, same time and place.)\n\nThe Texas Medical Center Summer Research Program is for students completing their junior&nbsp\;year at Augustana. This summer experience is a full-time\, 10-week research internship at the Texas Medical Center in Houston. The program will be June 7-Aug.&nbsp\;13\, 2021.\n\nIt is open to all majors.&nbsp\;Previous students have majored in&nbsp\;English\, art\, pre-vet\, psychology\, business administration\, communication studies\, education\, economics\, political science\, graphic arts\, communication sciences and disorders\, philosophy\, chemistry\, pre-med\, biology\, applied mathematics&nbsp\;and more.\n\nThe estimated cost per student is $3\,500. In addition to Augie Choice and a stipend\, students have access to supplemental grants\, and some additional funding based on financial need.\n\nThe application deadline is&nbsp\;Dec. 1\, 2020.\n
