DESCRIPTION:The Augustana offices of Student Inclusion and Diversity and Student Life will sponsor the annual Shades of Beauty Summit.\n\nThe summit is a gathering of women to share\, discover and celebrate their beauty. The goal is to provide an event that will reach past cultural differences\, uniting women and empowering them to love who they are\, the way that they are.&nbsp\;\n\nAdmission is free but registration is required.&nbsp\;\n\nThis year's theme is &nbsp\;"Embracing the power of HER within." Events will take place outside of Room 420\, Gerber Center.\n\nThe EmpowHer Experience with community women leaders will take place from 6:30-7:30 p.m.\, followed by a CelebratHer Party with a DJ\, photo booth\, dessert bars and Her Expo from 7:30-9:30.\n\nA diverse group of women leaders will share their stories and tools.&nbsp\;Panelists include:&nbsp\;\n\nLashonda Polite\, founder and CEO of EnRICHed Solutions\nBecky Castenada\, board president\, Clock\, Inc.\nJazmin Newton\, owner and attorney\, Newton Law\, PLC\nPandora Lawrence\, retired teacher and principal\nHosted by Michelle Quinn\n
