DESCRIPTION:Kai Swanson\, special assistant to the president\, will present Halloween at House on the Hill.\n\nParticipants should dress for the weather\, as most of the program will take place outside. A limited number of people will be invited inside\, but will need to remain masked and appropriately distanced. In the event of rain\, the program will be canceled.\n\nOn the 8th of April in 1953 (6:30 a.m. to be precise)\, Apollonia Weyerhaeuser Davis died in her family home at the age of 89. Not long after\, her son Edwin arranged to donate the home and its surrounding 26-acre estate to Augustana College on condition it continue to use the name the family had given it: House on the Hill.\n\nApollonia spent all but a few years of her remarkable life in House on the Hill\, and there are those who contend that her spirit lives on there.\n\n\n&nbsp\;\n
