DESCRIPTION:In celebration of International Education Week\, COMM 260\, communication and culture\, is collaborating with the Office of International Student and Scholar Services (OISSS) to present a special session about international student experiences at Augustana College. The session will begin with a presentation by the Director of OISSS\, Xong Sony Yang\, in which she will share what OISSS does on campus and how the office supports international students. Then\, global ambassadors and other international students will be special guests in a panel discussion about the experiences of international students on Augustana's campus. Dr. Lucy Burgchardt will serve as moderator.&nbsp\;\n\n\nThis session may be particularly informative for faculty who are interested in making more inclusive classrooms\, and for any member of the Augustana community who wants to learn more about how to create a more welcoming campus environment.&nbsp\;\n\n&nbsp\;\n
