DESCRIPTION:Dezi Primous-Gillon (they/them) is an educator\, artist and client services coordinator currently residing on the unceded territories of the Council of Three Fires. After graduating Augustana College in 2016 with a religion and sociology double major\, they went on to study liberation theology and sexual ethics at Union Theological Seminary. Their spiritual and political practices are cultivated by eco-womanist and black feminist frameworks and are also situated in the intersection of healing justice\, ecology\, and womanism.\n\nAs an outdoor enthusiast with a deep fondness for sci-fi and fantasy\, they believe these genres will help folks unfasten a radical imagination of what is possible. They will be at Augustana presenting "My Post-Graduate Journey Helping People Access Bodily Autonomy and Practical Support\," a discussion of their vocational journey and experiences as a youth worker\, community organizer and client services provider for abortion seekers.\n\nSponsored by the departments of public health\, sociology and anthropology\, and women\, gender\, and sexuality studies\, and the Presidential Center for Faith and Learning. See flyer.\n
