DESCRIPTION:Dr. Cathy Webb\, assistant professor of communication sciences and disorders at Augustana College\, will present.This year's Frieze Lecture Series theme is "Feminism: From Basics to Barbie." All programs involve faculty or students affiliated with Augustana’s Women\, Gender and Sexuality Studies (WGSS) program and are designed to create greater insight and context related to feminism.This is the last of four lectures in the series. The Frieze Lecture series is a 26-year partnership between the Rock Island Public Library and Augustana College to present four talks in the fall. Lectures are from 2-3 p.m. Tuesdays at the Rock Island Main Library\, 401 19th St.\, Downtown Community Room.
