Augie Sweethearts: Jack Fisherkeller '80 and Anne Bartel '79

It was love at first sight, on my part any way. Anne and her CAP sisters lived in the white house across from House on the Hill 1977-79 next to a long demolished OZO house, where I first saw her while on my way to a study session with my fraternity brothers.

It took a lot of perseverance including taking someone else's seat next to her, on the flight home from the 1978 European quarter for her to notice me. We started dating and married in 1981 with a full CAP-OZO sorority fraternity reception and serenades. Our son-in-law is also an Augie Grad.
