Augie Sweethearts: Jori Griffith '09 and Ryan Griffith '08

We started dating a few days after school started in the fall of 2005. I was a freshman and he was a sophomore. He lived in the dorm room (westerlin I wing) right above me. He’d knock on the ceiling of his room to say hi, and I’d stomp my feet to say hi back. We’ve been together for almost 13 years!

In 2010, we got engaged and ended up winning a dream wedding from popular Chicago radio station 101.9 the mix. Our friends at Augie helped us win the wedding by casting over 56,000 votes. Google ‘Augie alum rally Viking votes to win dream wedding.'

We now live in Glenview with our daughter, Thea who was born in June of 2015 and we’re expecting our second, due at the end of this summer!
