Augie Sweethearts: Meghan Matejka '09 and Christopher Sienza '08

Chris and I both attended Augustana since our freshman years (2004 and 2005 respectively), but we didn't meet until 2007. We finally met in Hiroshima, Japan while we were on Asian Term. We immediately became close friends throughout the rest of the study abroad and we started dating in 2008.

Our relationship has moved from developing overseas to pushing through long distance dating while we both attended graduate school. Chris and I finally tied the knot in October 2014. We are now living-out the dream in Colorado and none of this would have been possible had we not both attended Asian Term.
