Augie Sweethearts: Kali and Jason Petit, Class of 2007

Jason and I first met during a visit to Augie our junior year of high school. We were both pole vaulters and we definitely had a spark as we saw each other across the gym in Carver.

Eventually we started dating, spending long hours together at track practice and dinner in the college center afterwards. Every weekend going to track meets and supporting each other brought us close together.

Senior year we were both captains of the track team. It was meant to be! After college we got married and now have two beautiful kids. We are already training them to pole vault!
