Augie Sweethearts: Penny Reining '76 and Scott Reining '77

I transferred to Augie my junior year to major in speech pathology. Several girls on my floor in Westerlin persuaded me to go to Lee’s my first night. We met up with some guys outside of Erickson and proceeded to walk to Lee’s together. Scott ended up walking me back to the dorm and the rest is history.

40 years later, two grown kids and four sweet grandchildren we are still together.

By the way, our daughter Meghan also graduated from Augie in 2002.
