Augie Sweethearts: Leah Richards '13 and Richard Twardowski '14

Richard and I met in February 2011 at Bingo in the College Center after bumping into each other around campus for months. After my graduation in 2013, I moved back home to the St. Louis area while he was still at Augie. It was long distance but it never mattered.

In 2014, I moved up to Chicago, where Richard is from and in 2015 we moved in together. This past weekend, January 27, 2018, Richard got down on one knee and asked him to marry him! I couldn't be happier with the amazing man I get to spend the rest of my life with, and I owe it all to Augustana!
