Augie Sweethearts: Will Tolmie '13 and Brittney Tolmie '14

I grew up around Augie and have been going to all of the men’s basketball games for almost 16 years. I knew from a very young age I would choose to go to college at Augie - I just never knew I would find the love of my life at Augie. Brittney and I met during her Senior year while I was going back for more credits to take the CPA.

Even after graduation, Brittney and I have stayed very involved with Augie. We go to almost all of the men’s basketball games and even sit in the same seats. For that reason, in March of 2017, when the men’s basketball team made it to the Final Four we knew we had to go with them to Salem, VA. Little did Brittney know this is where I would ask her to be my wife.

We were blessed to get married on August 26, 2017 at TPC Deere Run at a prestigious golf club in here in the Quad Cities. We continue to stay involved at Augie because we believe that we owe everything to Augie. Without Augie, our Fairy Tale never would've come true!
