Augie Sweethearts: Keena Wilson '12 and Craig Wilson '11

We met during the summer of 2009 right before school was about to start back up in the fall. Craig was a junior, and I a sophomore at Augustana at the time. When we first met, we talked about what we were each studying at Augie. I was a psychology major and he was pre-med.

After this, we started hanging out more, and he officially asked me to be his girlfriend in September 2009. We dated throughout the rest of our college years and he graduated one year before me. We both ended up pursuing higher degrees in Springfield, IL where we still live to this day.

He asked me to be his wife on July 4, 2013 and we got married in the Chapel on Augie’s campus on May 30, 2015, which was officiated by Pastor Priggie. Since then, we adopted our beloved beagle and named her Augie after the school that brought us together. We are now expecting our first baby boy who is due on February 13, 2018.

We are so thankful for how Augustana not only shaped our professional lives, but also our personal lives!
