Planetarium and geology museum open house

Augustana College's John Deere Planetarium and Fryxell Geology Museum will be open to the public for an evening of stargazing and space shows. The planetarium, located at 820 38th Street, Rock Island, will be open from 8:30 p.m.

Chef Joseph Yoon, world-renowned chef and thought leader in entomophagy, or eating insects, will share the science of insects with the sustainability and health aspects of eating insects.

Swedish-American Genealogy Club: 'Research in Östergötland'

The Swenson Center and Head of Genealogical Services Jill Seaholm invite you to a virtual Swedish-American Genealogy Club meeting. The club will talk about resources available for Östergötland research.

The event is free for Swenson Center members and $10 for non-members.
