This is an exciting time, and we’re here to help you navigate your next steps. Here’s what to do after receiving your acceptance letter:

1. Submit your tuition deposit

Want to join the Augustana family? Secure your spot at Augustana! By submitting your tuition deposit, you officially join the Augustana Class of 2029 and ensure you’re on track for housing, class registration and all the experiences that come with being a Viking. Don’t wait, secure your place today! 

2. Visit campus

Even if you’ve visited before, now is a great time to explore campus with fresh eyes. Attend an Accepted Student Visit Day, connect with current students and start picturing your future at Augie. Every visit helps you feel more at home!

Shameless plug: Join us for “It Begins with A” on April 12, a special event designed just for you! Meet future classmates, talk with professors, explore campus and get all your questions answered. Trust us, you don’t want to miss it!

3. Complete important forms

To get ready for your first semester, make sure you complete your New Student Checklist on your Augustana student portal. This includes:

• Pre-Enrollment Form
• Housing application
• Submission of final high school transcript
• Signing up for Orientation and Registration 

Check your email and your Augustana Student Portal regularly so you don’t miss any deadlines or updates! 

4. Connect with future classmates

Your Augustana experience starts now! Get to know your future classmates by:

• Following and submitting a bio to @AugustanaBound on Instagram to be featured!
• Joining the Augustana College Class of 2029 Facebook group to meet other incoming students, ask questions and start building your Viking community.

5. Celebrate your achievement

You’ve worked hard to get here and that’s worth celebrating! Share your excitement with friends and family, post your acceptance on social media using #AugustanaBound and start connecting with your future classmates. This is the beginning of an incredible journey!
