Green Week: Talk by Dr. Kang and Mark Lundine

Dr. Kang and junior Mark Lundine will present a talk entitled "The Use of High Precision Terrestrial LiDAR Data and Cyclone Suite to Analyze Fluvial Processes.

Dr. Kang is a geography professor at Western Illinois University-Quad Cities. His research focuses on the geomorphic effects of urbanization, urban hydrology, stream bank erosion processes, interactions between stream banks and bryophytes, ecological effects of intensive agricultural practices, effects of check dams, and fluvial dynamics in low order streams. He has been working with Mark (a junior at Augustana) using Terrestrial LiDAR to measure stream bank erosion.
