Prepping a triceratops
Oct. 09, 2026
Augustana geology students have been working painstakingly for a year in Dr. Kelsey Arkle's lab, preparing 66-million-year-old triceratops bones for Augustana's collaboration with the Putnam Museum and Science Center. Yesterday many specimens were transferred to Dr. Marcus Eriksen to be incorporated into the mounted dinosaur skeleton for display in 2027!
