Moline water

Did you know that our local drinking water comes from the Mississippi River? Students taking SOAN 340: Humans and the Environment visited the Moline water treatment facility last week to learn more about how water is processed for local use. Students will compare our facility to other systems around the world, focusing on the ways in which climate change impacts our water supplies.
