Guest recital: Kristín Taylor, piano

Dr. Kristín Jónína Taylor, associate professor of piano at Waldorf College, will perform. 

After attending secondary school in Iceland, she received a doctorate of musical arts in piano performance at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music.

She returned to Iceland on a Fulbright grant in 2004-05 to research Icelandic composer Jon Nordal. Taylor received a second Fulbright Scholar grant in 2010 to return to Iceland and research the music of another Icelandic composer, Thorkell Sigurbjornsson.
