Riverine Walk: "I'm Freezing Out Here!"

Dr. Tim Muir, Augustana College associate professor of biology, will conduct a Riverine Walk entitled "I'm freezing out here!"

He will take participants for a walk along the Augustana College slough and a talk about how native turtles, frogs, and insects survive during winter. Learn how Dr. Muir and his students catch, identify and measures turtles, and find out the near-miraculous mechanisms they use to survive a cold winter.

The event will also take place on June 10 from 9-10:30am. It is hosted by River Action.
