Stanley Erikson Lectureship in Public Affairs: Tiffany Fitzgerald

Tiffany Fitzgerald, the founder of Black Girls Golf, will give the Stanley Erikson Lectureship in Public Affairs at 11 a.m. The lecture is free but registration is requested by Feb. 7.

Fitzgerald, a former resident of the Quad Cities, founded Black Girls Golf in 2013. The organization provides golf news, information and golf clinics for women who are interested in learning, practicing, and playing golf.

Stanley Erikson came to Augustana in 1948 and founded the political science department here. He was its chair until his retirement in 1974.

The lecture will serve as the keynote for the QC Black Business Expo, sponsored by Augustana's Center for Inclusive Leadership and Equity and the QC Empowerment Network. There will be entertainment, activities for youth and families, contests and door prizes from 1-4 p.m.
