Departmental Open House and Scholarship Competition

High school seniors are invited to participate in an academic Departmental Open House and Scholarship Competition on Saturday, Nov. 17, 2018, or Saturday, Jan. 19. 2019. Scholarship winners are awarded $4,000 ($1,000/year for four years). Make sure to get an invitation! Sign up for updates.

Students must apply for admission in order to be eligible for scholarship awards. Students may compete for only one departmental scholarship.

Students from out of state are invited to stay overnight on Thursday and Friday.

Parents and Illinois residents are invited to stay in accommodations in the Quad Cities area.

9-9:45 a.m. Opportunities Fair,  Carver P.E. Center

10-10:15 a.m. Welcome address, Centennial Hall

10:30-11:30 a.m. Departmental Open House (parents and students)

11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Scholarship competition (students)

11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m. President's address and introduction to financial aid (parents)

12:30-2:15 p.m. Campus tours (optional); lunch in the Gerber Center

12:30-3 p.m. Wrap-up with Admissions counselors
