Handel Oratorio Society spring performance

The Handel Oratorio Society's spring performance will include Bach's "Jesu, meine Freude" by Augustana Choral Artists, and Fauré's "Requiem Op. 48" by the Oratorio Society.

The Augustana Oratorio Society, later renamed the Handel Oratorio Society, was formed in 1880 by Augustana theology Professor Olof Olsson. The ensemble is celebrated for exploring the riches of choral-orchestral literature.

The musicians of the Handel Oratorio Society include Quad Cities community members, Augustana students, the Augustana Choir, the Augustana Symphony Orchestra and invited soloists.
