Augustana Symphonic Band concert

The Augustana Symphonic Band will perform at locations in Illinois and Wisconsin on its February tour.

The band, established in 1874, performs music written for the wind band. It is conducted by Dr. James Lambrecht. Alumni, families and friends of the college are invited to attend one of these free performances in their area:

Feb. 17: Whitefish Bay, Wis., Whitefish Bay High School evening performance

Feb. 18: Brookfield, Wis., Wilson Center Hall Harris Theatre 

Feb. 19: West Aurora, Ill., West Aurora High School afternoon concert

Feb.20: Naperville, Ill., Matea High School morning clinic and late morning concert

Feb. 21: Antioch, Ill., Antioch High School afternoon clinic and evening performance 

Feb. 22: Hinsdale, Ill., Hinsdale High School afternoon clinic and evening concert 

Feb. 23: Orland Park, Ill., Carl Sandburg High School, afternoon concert at school band festival
