Documentary: 'Paris to Pittsburgh'

The documentary "Paris to Pittsburgh," will be shown followed by a panel discussion. In the film, Pittsburgh Mayor William Peduoto and other leaders across the country talk about threats their communities face and what they are doing to find solutions.

Local panelists will include Dr. Robert Wegronowitz, visiting professor at Augustana College, Rock Island, in sociology, anthropology and social welfare; Ray Wolf, science and operations officer for the National Weather Service, Davenport; and Eric Sorensen, senior meteorologist with WQAD-TV, Ch. 8.

The screening is the local event affiliated with a world-wide observance Nov. 21 called "24 Hours of Climate Reality," sponsored by the Climate Reality Project.
