Penguin Project: 'The Lion King Jr.'
The Penguin Project of the Quad Cities is back for a fourth season with a performance of "The Lion King Jr.," a one-hour adaptation. Theatre tickets have sold out.
However, a simulcast will be offered Jan. 25-26 in Centennial Hall (just across the street from the Brunner Theatre).
General admission tickets for the simulcast are $5 and may be purchased in advance or at the door as long as they are available. The performance will be broadcast live via simulcast.
The show is a collaboration between Augustana College and the Center for Living Arts in Rock Island.
The Penguin Project gives children with special needs a chance to develop creative skills in the theatre arts. Established in 2004, the Penguin Project is a national program with chapters across the U.S.
