Looking Across the Atlantic: Swedish-American Relations in the 20th Century

Dag Blanck, director of the Swenson Swedish Immigration Research Center at Augustana, will present "Looking Across the Atlantic: Swedish-American Relations in the 20th Century."

Blanck, a professor of North American Studies at Uppsala University, Sweden, and Monica Obniski, curator of Decorative Arts and Design at High Museum of Art in Atlanta, Ga., will discuss Swedish-American relations and how ideas, conceptions and images travel between the two countries.

This event is a collaboration between the Embassy of Sweden in Washington, D.C., and Anekdot Magazine at Stockholm University in Sweden.
