Take Back the Night

The Office of Sexual Assault Prevention Education will sponsor a Take Back the Night rally against sexual violence.

Speakers will include:

• Pastor Melinda Pupillo, campus chaplain and director of spiritual development

• Janey Locander, Augustana student and poet

• Nathan Leidig, program and training coordinator, The Project of the Quad Cities

• Jo Ironshield, advocate for missing and murdered indigenous women

• Saisha Bhandari, Augustana student peer educator

• Mary Isabel Sales, Augustana student

• Kathlee Kilbride, sexual assault nurse examiner at UnityPoint Health

• Grace Gwozdz, Augustana student

• Megan Brown-Saldana, executive director of Lead Her QC

Events are held around the world in April, organized by the Take Back the Night Foundation.

In case of rain, the event will move to the Denkmann Memorial Building.
