Día de la Virgen

Día de la Virgen is an event where we celebrate the Virgen de Guadalupe, the Virgin Mary, for all she means to the Latino culture and religion. La Virgen de Guadalupe is seen as a protector and sacred symbol, so on the Saturday closest to her birthday, Latinx Unidos celebrates her with traditional food, music and Indigenous dances.
