River Readings: Mark Turcotte, Illinois Poet Laureate

Enjoy a night of poetry with Mark Turcotte, the sixth Illinois Poet Laureate. Gaia Splendore '26, an English, creative writing and history major, will perform as the opening reader.

Turcotte is a member of the Turtle Mountain Band Anishinaabe and is the Distinguished-Writer-In-Residence at DePaul University in Chicago.
